Description of Female. Fully winged; length 4.0– 4.7 mm. Head brown, except mandible, clypeus and part of face testaceous; antenna completely testaceous; propleuron brown; pronotum brown, except lateral regions and part of dorsal side testaceous; rest of mesosoma black; metasoma brown; legs brown, except coxae, tarsi and tibiae testaceous. In specimen from Japan, Iriomote-jima, ocellar region brown and lateral regions of vertex testaceous; antenna testaceous, except segment 1 brown; propleura brown; pronotum brown, except lateral regions and part of dorsal side testaceous; rest of mesosoma brown; metasoma brown; legs testaceous, except club of profemur and part of meso- and metacoxa brown. Antenna filiform; antennal segments in following proportions: 17:8:29:35:39:40:31:20:12:12. Head swollen, dull, granulated and reticulate rugose, mostly on sides; frontal line absent (shortly present in front of anterior ocellus in specimen from Japan, Iriomote-jima); occipital carina complete; ocellar region swollen; POL = 5.5; OL = 2; OOL = 10; OPL = 2; TL = 4. Pronotum dull, hairy, crossed by transverse impression, with irregular striae on transverse furrow. Scutum dull, granulated and with numerous irregular keels on lateral regions and near posterior margin. Notauli complete, posteriorly separated. Scutellum dull, granulated, with numerous irregular keels. Metanotum reticulate rugose. Propodeum reticulate rugose, without transverse or longitudinal keels. Fore wing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of stigmal vein longer than proximal part (34:19). Hindwing hyaline, without dark transverse bands. Protarsal segments in following proportions: 30:4:9:24:38. Enlarged claw ( Plate 70B View PLATE 70 ) with two subapical teeth and one row of 27 lamellae. Segment 5 of protarsus ( Plate 70B View PLATE 70 ) with two rows of approximately 47 lamellae; distal apex with five lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.
Male. Unknown.
Material examined. Type: holotype ♀: MALAYSIA: Sarawak, Gunung Mulu National Park ( BMNH) . Other material. JAPAN: Ryukyu Islands , Iriomote-jima, Funaura, 24°41'N 123°61'E, C. 11.V.2008, B. 20.V.2008, Sf. 1.VIII. 2008, reared from Geisha distinctissima (Walker) , T. Mita leg. ( ELKU) ( Mita, 2009b) .
