Description of Male. Fully winged; length 2.6–3.1 mm. Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna of holotype brown, except segments 1–2 testaceous; antenna of paratype testaceous, except dorsal side darkened; mesosoma black; metasoma brown; legs of holotype testaceous, except coxae and club of profemur brown; forelegs of paratype testaceous, except coxa and club of femur brown; mid- and hindlegs of paratype testaceous, except coxae, clubs of femora, tibiae and last tarsal segment brown. Antenna filiform; antennal segments of holotype in following proportions: 13:7:10:9:9:9:7:7:6:8; antennal segments of paratype in following proportions: 10:6:7:7:6:7:6:6:5.5:7.5. Head dull, completely reticulate rugose; frontal line complete; face without pointed apophysis between antennal toruli; occipital carina complete; head of holotype with POL = 5; OL = 3; OOL = 7; OPL = 6; TL = 3; head of paratype with POL = 6; OL = 4; OOL = 7; OPL = 4; TL = 4; greatest breadth of posterior ocelli shorter than OPL (2.5:4). Scutum of holotype dull, granulated and slightly rugose (rugosities stronger in proximal third of scutum); scutum of paratype completely strongly granulated and reticulate rugose. Notauli complete, posteriorly separated; minimum distance between notauli longer than POL (10:5) and longer than greatest breadth of posterior ocelli (10:4). Scutellum shiny, with anterior half punctate and unsculptured among punctures and posterior half reticulate rugose. Metanotum dull, reticulate rugose. Propodeum with strong transverse keel between dorsal and posterior surface; dorsal surface very short, dull, reticulate rugose, with broad areolae; posterior surface with two complete longitudinal keels, median area smooth, shiny, unsculptured, and lateral areas dull and reticulate rugose. Fore wing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of stigmal vein shorter than proximal part (9: 15 in holotype; 9: 10 in paratype); marginal cell open. In specimen from Malaysia, University of Malaya Field Station, fore wing with one weak dark transverse band in distal third. Petiole very short, almost absent. Genitalia in plate 69 B. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.

Paratype: INDIA: New Delhi, Indian Agricultural Research Institute , 300 m, 10.VII.1990, short grass, J. M. Heraty leg., 1♂ ( DEUCR) . Other material. MALAYSIA: Malaya, 16 mi. Gombak, University of Malaya Field Station , 29.III–6.IV.1989, L.E. Carroll leg., 1♂ ( DETAM) .
