Singapore records.
Boiga multomaculata View in CoL — David & Vogel, 1996: 69.— Cox et al., 1998: 76.—Chan-ard et al., 1999: 30.— Iskandar & Colijn, 2001: 40.— de Lang & Vogel, 2005: 248.—Ziegler et al., 2010: 273.—Wallach et al., 2014: 105.—Chan-ard et al., 2015: 210.— de Lang, 2017: 113.
Remarks. Singapore is listed as part of the distribution for B. multomaculata by David & Vogel (1996) and Cox et al. (1998), but we are unsure where they acquired the record from as no publications exist reporting B. multomaculata from Singapore. Perhaps they are alluding to Cantor (1847b) who said B. multomaculata occurs in Peninsular Malaysia, but Smith(1930) explained that this was incorrect.Clearly there is discrepancy surrounding the distribution of B. multomaculata as it also does not occur in Peninsular Malaysia (E.S.H. Quah pers. comm.), Borneo (Stuebing et al. 2014), nor Sulawesi ( de Lang & Vogel 2005). Furthermore, Das (2010) did not list it as occurring in Indonesia, although it is known from Sumatra ( David & Vogel 1996), Java, and Bali ( de Lang 2017).
