Host plant.

Calotropis L. (Fig. 2) from which the specimens were collected by sweep-netting.

World distribution.

Libya, Egypt, Benin, Cameroon, Chad, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Yemen ( White and Hancock 1997, White 2006, White and Goodger 2009, De Meyer et al. 2013).
