Synonymy: Platynothrus septentrionalis ( Sellnick, 1944) : (Olszanowksi 1996).
Geographic Location and Habitats: BC: Sicamous Creek ( Berch et al. 2007; as P. septentrionalis ); Interior, forest litter ( Battigelli et al. 2004; as P. septentrionalis ).
Distribution: Holarctic.
