Comments. Anacaona was recently described as a monotypic genus of Cocconotini from the Dominican Republic ( Yong, 2019). According to the photographs in the original description it does not belong to this tribe and the subfamily Pseudophyllinae . Anacaona bellatrix Yong, 2019 is in fact a member of the tribe Copiphorini (subfamily Conocephalinae ), like the three other new species described in the corresponding paper. The thoracic auditory spiracle is large, oval and partially hidden under the pronotum, in contrast to the small circular auditory spiracle of the Pseudiphyllinae which would be fully exposed under the lateral lobe of the pronotum ( Naskrecki, 2000). The habitus of this species is similar to the yellowish brown forms of species of Bucrates Burmeister, 1838 , but A. bellatrix has a narrower fastigium. After transferring the species to Conocephalinae , the subfamily Pseudophyllinae is represented on Hispaniola by the tribe Polyancistrini and the monotypic genus Caribophyllum Rehn, 1947 of Pterophyllini ( Cigliano et al., 2020) .
