CONTEXT AND CONTENT. Order Cingulata View in CoL , family Dasypodidae View in CoL , subfamily Chlamyphorinae (Möller-Krull et al. 2007) View in CoL . Wetzel et al. (2008) included Chlamyphorinae View in CoL as the tribe Chlamyphorini of the subfamily Euphractinae View in CoL , but a molecular phylogeny by Delsuc et al. (2012) confirmed that the fairy armadillos were an ancient lineage worthy of subfamilial rank.
