Material examined ( 1 specimen). Papua New Guinea: Western Province, Muller Range, Gugusu , elev. 515 m ( 5°43'45.3''S, 142°15'47.8''E), 3–10.ix.2009, coll. P. Naskrecki & D.C.F. Rentz— 1 female ( MCZ).

This the first record of this species from PNG, previously it has been known only from the type series collected in the Aroe Island (western Maluku Islands, Indonesia.)
