The tribe Meroscelisini is composed of 20 genera and 52 species ( Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2018). Immature stages of four species belonging to four genera have been described: the larva of Microplophorus magellanicus Blanchard, 1851 from the Falkland Islands, described by Duffy (1960). Cekalovic (1970) redescribed the larva and described the pupa of this species; Polyoza lacordairei Audinet-Serville, 1832 , briefly described by Heller (1904); Tragosoma harrisii LeConte, 1851 described by Craighead (1915); and Trichoderes pini Chevrolat, 1843 , described by Candèze (1861). Currently, the only pupa described is that of Microplophorus magellanicus by Duffy (1960).
The genus Polyoza Audinet-Serville, 1832 is monotypic. Heller (1904) described the larva of Polyoza lacordairei . Herein, based on larval and pupal exuviae, the larva of this species is redescribed and the pupa described.
The genus Quercivir Lameere, 1912 is composed of two species. Herein, the larva of Quercivir gounellei Lameere, 1912 is described. This is the first description of an immature stage for this genus.
