"Habitat in Peru. D. Jussieu." RCN: 5042.

Neotype (Krapovickas in Darwiniana 10: 629, lam. VII. 1954): Herb. Linn. No. 870.5 ( LINN; iso- P-JU) .

Current name: Fuertesimalva peruviana (L.) Fryxell View in CoL ( Malvaceae ).

Note: Krapovickas’ choice of type appears to be a later addition to the herbarium and not original material. However, no other original material appears to exist so this choice is accepted as a valid neotypification under Art. 9.8.
