Distribution. Poland, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Romania, Ukraine (Crimea), Bulgaria, Spain, Algeria, Egypt, Israel.
Discussion. This species is a western Meridional faunal element. Adults have been collected in meadows, peat-bogs, steppes, mountains and reared from wet saline soil (present observations).
