Chrysoscota cotriangulata Holloway, 2001 , Moths of Borneo 7: 432, pl. 8: 411, 414; Cerny & Pinratana, 2009: 5, pl. 1: 2; Bucsek, 2012: 138, pl. 24: 339. TL: Borneo (Sabah).

Diagnosis. Wingspan ♂ 21–22 mm, ♀ 21–25 mm. This species is similar to C. kimsuni sp. n., but can be distinguished by the following characteristics: size smaller (21–22 mm); discocellular spot of forewing gray-yellow, without dark brown patch; in male genitalia, gap between valva and saccular process about 2/3 length of valva; valva tapered, slightly sclerotized; saccular process bent towards valva, with apical spine; aedeagus slender, waved, and vesica with scobination; in female genitalia, the ventral opening of ostium 3 times broader than C. kimsuni , “–“-shaped, sclerotized; ductus bursae sclerotized, sub trapezoidal; corpus bursae pyriform.

Slide No. INU-1310, INU-1311, INU-1312, INU-1313, INU-1314, INU-1317 ; 2 males, Cambodia, Samkos (N12˚12′49″, E102˚54′11″), 18–19.II.2012 (Bae, Ju, Park, and Lee) ; 2 males, 3 females, Cambodia, Osam (N12˚1′31″, E103˚11′4″), 21–22.II.2012 (Bae, Ju, Park, and Lee) ; 1 male, Cambodia, Samkos (N12˚12′40″, E102˚52′13″), 23.XII.2014 (Bae, Ju, Qi, Bayarsaikhan, Park, Na, Kim, and Lee).

Distribution. Cambodia (new record), Borneo, Indonesia, Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia.
