Chrysis cyanura Forster [not Förster], 1771: 89. Holotype ♂; Spain (NHMUK).

Material examined. Kadisha River (N. Lebanon), 1760 m, 22.vi.1960, 2♂, leg. G.A. Mavromoustakis, det. W. Linsenmaier 1963 ( NMLU) .

Distribution. * Lebanon. Subcosmopolitan, from Palearctic to Oriental and Afrotropical ( Kimsey & Bohart 1991).
