Pseudanophthalmus loedingi Valentine, 1931: 252. Type locality: "Shelta Cave, Huntsville [Madison County], Ala[bama]" (original citation). Holotype (♂) in USNM [# 44261].

Distribution.

This species is known from several caves in Madison County, northern Alabama (Barr 2004: 35).
