Habitat. The specimens from the Altai Mts. were collected from mesic grassland along a creek in an area of dry grazed steppe (M. Horsák, pers. observ.) and in clearings amid mountain taiga (label data).

Distribution. A Holarctic species (Chen & Lindskog 1994, Lindskog 1995, Vinokurov et al. 2012, Aukema et al. 2013, Ferenca et al. 2014).
