MATERIAL EXAMINED. 7 ♀, St. Petersburg, 3–5.i.1985 (S. Sinev) ; 1 Ƌ, Piskarevka , 26.vi.2013 .

REMARKS. In St. Petersburg P. interpunctella is the most abundant species among narrow-winged pyralids damaging the products. It is often found in blocks of flats, foodstores, food factories etc.

DISTRIBUTION. A transcontinental synanthropic species.
