Pempeliella ornatella ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)*

MATERIAL EXAMINED. 2 Ƌ, 3 ♀, W env. of Luga , 25–30.vii.2012 ; 1 Ƌ, Volochaevskoe lake , 6.vii.2015 .

REMARKS. The species is present in Northwest region of Russia, in all Baltic States, Sweden and Finland ( Karsholt &

Razowski 1996; Aarvik et al. 2017), but still was not mentioned for Leningrad Province. It inhabits dry habitats with Thymus . Very local.

DISTRIBUTION. Europe except for northern parts, Caucasus, Turkey, Iran, North Africa, Central Asia, Himalaya, South Siberia, Russian Far East, Japan ( Sinev 1986; Karsholt & Razowski 1996; Leraut 2014; Aarvik et al. 2017; Koçak & Kemal 2018; Sinev et al. 2019; Slamka, 2019).
