Diagnosis. This species is unique in having a white discoidal spot on both wings and the white triangular patch near apical part of the forewing ( Figs 1, 2 View FIGURES 1–15 ). The dentate transverse lines appear in this species and L. shiushioui sp. nov., however the discoidal spot of the latter species is black ( Figs 3, 4 View FIGURES 1–15 ). In the genitalia, this species is unique by the membranous vesica ( Fig. 24 View FIGURES 24–31 ) and the very long ductus bursae ( Fig. 32 View FIGURES 32–37 )
Distribution and bionomics. Taiwan and Sichuan ( Prout, 1937). In Taiwan, this species is distributed in primary broad-leaved forests. The adults occur in late January, February, March and October.
