Diagnosis. Mesoscutal midlobe, axilla, and mesoscutellum mostly areolate. Mesoscutellar disc long and narrow, more than 1.2× as long as broad. Axillula areolate. Propodeal disc not reticulate sublaterally.

This species is very generalized in appearance, but differs from most others in having a narrow mesoscutellum ( Figs 92, 93 View FIGURES 89–94 ). From O. qincha it differs in having areolate mesoscutal sidelobes.

Description. Female. Length 2.5–2.6 mm.

Color: Head and mesosoma blue green. Pedicel yellow; anellus brownish yellow; flagellum brown. Coxae brown with metallic luster dorsally, becoming yellow ventrally; fore and mid femora brownish; legs otherwise yellow. Fore wing hyaline; venation pale brown. Petiole blue-green; gaster brown with purple luster.

Head: Head width:head height 1.1; face reticulate; longitudinal groove between eye and torulus present; eyes bare, inter-ocular distance:eye height 1.3; malar space:eye height 0.7; supraclypeal area longer than broad, smooth ventrally, weakly sculptured dorsally and laterally; clypeus smooth to weakly sculptured. Flagellum length:head height 1.4–1.5; F2 2.6–2.9× as long as broad, 1.3× as long as F3; following funiculars subequal in width, successively shorter.

Mesosoma: Mesosoma length:height 1.4–1.5. Mesoscutal midlobe mostly areolate with a few areolatereticulate areas, with minute setae; lateral lobe areolate. Axilla areolate to areolate-reticulate; mesoscutellar disc areolate-reticulate anteriorly, becoming areolate posteriorly; frenal line irregularly foveate; frenum areolatereticulate; axillular groove anteriorly narrow, broad and foveate posteriorly; axillula areolate. Propodeum with irregular median carina; propodeal disc areolate; callus areolate-reticulate, with 3–5 setae. Mesepisternum areolatereticulate laterally and ventrally, broadly rounded anterior to mid coxa. Upper mesepimeron smooth; lower mesepimeron areolate-reticulate; transepimeral sulcus distinct. Metepisternum laterally smooth to areolatereticulate. Hind coxa 2.3–2.34× as long as broad, reticulate dorsally, becoming smooth ventrally; hind femur 5.57– 6× as long as broad. Fore wing 2.5–2.56× as long as broad, 2.9–4.2× as long as mesothorax; stigma with 4 sensilla separated into pairs. Hind wing costal cell with a broad bare area.

Metasoma: Petiole 2.3–2.5× as long as broad, 0.9× as long as hind coxa, areolate-reticulate, anterior carina moderate. Antecostal sulcus crossed by minute carinae; acrosternite posteriorly rounded.

Male. Unknown.

Distribution. Trinidad.
