Diagnosis. This species can be separated from its congeners by the valva with a horn-shaped process at the base of costa and the juxta with a median forked process posteriorly ( Fig. 31 View FIGURES 31 – 33 ). Scythropiodes triangulus is similar to Myriopleura psilotis ( Meyrick, 1905) in both appearance and male genitalia. The generic status of Myriopleura Meyrick remains to be further studied.

Yunli Xiao; Guangdong Province: 3 Ƌ, Heshan City, 9–10.X.2002, coll. Guilin Liu and Binglan Zhang; 1 Ƌ, Heshan City, 6.XI.2002, coll. Guilin Liu; Yunnan Province: 1 Ƌ, Menglun Tropical Botanical Garden, 570 m, 15.VIII.2005, coll. Yingdang Ren.
Host plants. Rutaceae : Citrus reticulata ; Sapindaceae : Dimocarpus longan , Litchi chinensis ; Theaceae : Camellia sinensis . Huang et al. (2003) reported that its larvae were leaf-rollers on Citrus reticulata .
Distribution. China (Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Hunan, Jiangxi, Sichuan, Yunnan).
