Description. See Riedel (2021). All Japanese species have frons without horns, filiform antennae, coarsely and densely punctate mesosoma, and hind tarsus without strong apical bristles. A few Japanese species have a relatively short ovipositor, which is shorter than hind tibia (0.85 × as long as hind tibia).

Distribution. All zoogeographical regions except Antarctica ( Yu et al. 2016).
