Figs. 106–123 View FIGURES 94–117 View FIGURES 118–133

Anaceratagallia (Anaceratagallia) acuteangulata: Dubovsky, 1966 View in CoL , Mityaev, 1971, and Logvinenko, 1984 (misidentifications).

Description. Penis in side view very wide, usually with even dorsal and ventral margins ( Figs. 106, 110, 112, 114, 116 View FIGURES 94–117 ). Occasionally, dorsal margin slightly uneven, with few small denticles in middle part ( Fig. 108 View FIGURES 94–117 ). Male anal collar appendage wide, asymmetrically expanded, with angular protrusion on dorsal margin and with pointed apex ( Figs. 107, 109, 111, 113, 115, 117 View FIGURES 94–117 ).

Biology. In Kyrgyzstan it was collected in a wet meadow on the riverbank and on an irrigated plot overgrown with alfalfa.

Calling signal. Signals of males from the following localities were investigated.

1. Kyrgyzstan, West Tien Shan , Eastern part of Chatkal Mtn. Range, environs of Arkyt Village, wet meadow on riverbank, 16. VII. 2009, signals of one male recorded at 22–23 oC .

2. Kyrgyzstan, Batken Oblast , the shore of Tortkul’ Reservoir ca. 12 km South-West of Batken, alfalfa in apricot garden, 27. VI. 2016, signals of one male recorded at 30 oC .

In general, the calling signal structure is approximately the same as in A. (A.) venosa and A. (A.) chalchica ( Figs. 118–120 View FIGURES 118–133 ), but the temporal pattern of the second part is different ( Figs. 121–123 View FIGURES 118–133 ). Syllables in the second part of signal follow each other at a rate of 8–9/s at a temperature 22–23 oC and at a rate of 11–12/s at 30 oC.

Distribution. Southern half of Europe, Eastern Mediterranean ( Israel), southwestern Ukraine (Odessa Oblast), Transcaucasia ( Georgia), Western part of Southern Kazakhstan up to Syrdarya Karatau Mtn. Range, Kyrgyzstan (West Tien Shan), Tajikistan.
