Notes
Questionable status. Frequently reported from the Mediterranean and from Greece, but Mediterranean specimens probably belong to different species ( Castelli et al. 2008), such as the recently described Cirrophorus nikebianchii Langeneck, Barbieri, Maltagliati & Castelli, 2017 or Cirrophorus turcicus Erdoğan-Dereli, Çınar & Dağli, 2017.
