Material examined. Algeria: 9P ♂, 3P ♀, 5L, Great Kabylia, 2013 ( Sekhi et al. 2016); 9♂, 1P, 337L, northwestern Algeria, 2014–2017 ( Bemmoussat-Dekkak et al. 2021). Morocco: 4♂, 2P, 567L, Rif, 1997–2008 ( Hajji et al. 2013); 1♂, 1P, 2L, northeastern Morocco, 2014 ( Mabrouki et al. 2020).
Distribution. This is a West Mediterranean species, reported from Morocco (Bonada et al. 2008; Hajji et al. 2013, 2017; Mabrouki et al. 2020); Algeria ( Sekhi et al. 2016; Bemmoussat-Dekkak et al. 2021), and the Iberian Peninsula (González & Martínez-Menéndez 2011).
