Ecology and habitat in Iran: soil and leaf litter under poplar, oak trees and rotted cow manure.
Remarks: Cox 1982, Daghighi et al. 2013 a and Falahati et al. 2013a mentioned this species as Isotomina thermophila but in new generic combination it is considered as Hemisotoma thermophila .
General distribution: cosmopolitan (Babenko et al. 2019).
