Ecology and habitat in Iran: soil.
Remarks: Cox (1982), Falahati et al. (2013a) and Daghighi et al. (2013a) mentioned this species as Tullbergia krausbaueri but in new generic combination it is considered as M. krausbaueri .
General distribution: cosmopolitan ( Fjellberg 1998).
