Apanteles ficus Granger, 1949: 249 .
Diagnosis. Mesopleuron largely smooth beyond the anterior third. Fore wing with angle between r and 2Rs indistinct, both veins forming an almost continuous curve. Propodeum shagreened without distinct sculpture. Hind coxa reddish, totally smooth.

Host records. Naroma signifera Walker ( Lepidoptera : Lymantriidae ).
Distribution records. Madagascar. Reunion (new record).
Comments. The tergum 1 of the holotype of A. ficus Granger ( Fig. 15 View FIGURE 15 f) justifies its placement in the genus Glyptapanteles .
