Papilio Eques Trojanus crassus, Stoll, 1782b: 2 [No. 24].

Material examined. No potential Cramer specimens located. 1 ♀ with Felder label ‘Coll Eyndhoven Surinam’ ( BMNH (E)#665003) is not a good match for original plate 79, fig. B, because the large yellow mark illustrated on the hindwing is largely missing; it may have been re-pinned and has minor repairs to the wings. It is not considered to be a type .

Current status. Valid species in Battus ( Häuser et al., 2003) .
