Pap[ilio] Eq[ues] Achiv[us] arcas Stoll, 1782a: 174 , 247, pl.378, fig. C [original plate 353, fig. B] (junior homonym of Papilio arcas Drury, 1773 [ Hesperiidae ]). Brazil (‘Raye de Breukelerwaert’).

Material examined. No potential Stoll specimens located.

Remarks. Miller & Brown (1981), state that the ‘ Type may be in BM or lost’. Some Raye van Breukelerwaert material is in RNHL ( Smit et al., 1986).

Current status. Invalid senior subjective synonym of Parides eurimedes (Stoll (1782) ( Häuser et al., 2003) [ Tyler et al., 1994; attrib. to Cramer].
