NOTES: Lister (1894: 47) referred to two specimens “ Bohemia ( BM 503 ) and Iowa ( BM 805 )”. These specimens were located in BM and we designate BM 503 as the lectotype since it is in the best condition. There are 4 slides , BM 503 (a dry mount and a prepared slide) and BM 805 (a dry mount and a prepared slide). No notes were located. The species P .
viride is very variable as noted above, and this variety is currently accepted within the variability of the species.
