Otacilia saszykaska Jäger 2022: 149 , figs 11–23 ( Description of male, female; holotype male from LAOS: Vientiane Province: W of Vang Vieng, Tham Phoukham , 18°55’38.36”N, 102°23’44.71”E, 314 m, last accessible chamber, dark zone, around 300 m from cave entrance, P. Jäger leg. 11.10.2022, SMF; 4 female paratypes with same data as for holotype, SMF [2 females], NSMT [2 females]; all examined).

Additional individuals recorded. Several spiders were observed in the last accessible chamber of Tham Phoukham , the type locality, in the dark zone, about 300 m from the cave entrance (cf. Preziosi & Scipioni 1998).

Diagnosis & description: See Jäger (2022).

Distribution. Known only from the type locality, in Tham Phoukham , Vientiane province, Laos ( Fig. 13 ).

Notes. The type material of this species was re-examined and the holotype male was directly compared with the male of O. tham . No new material was collected in Tham Phoukham in order to preserve the population at the type locality.
