Distribution in mainland China: GS ( Liu 2010).
Other distribution. India, Thailand ( Beaver et al. 2011).
Biology. Cedrela fissilis Vell. , C. odorata Ruiz & Pav. and Toona ciliata M. Roem. (Meliaceae) have been recorded as host plants in Thailand ( Beaver et al. 2011). In India, it is known to bore into the living shoots of Santalum album L. ( Santalaceae ), causing dieback ( Beeson & Bhatia, 1937).
