Ditoma rugicollis Walker, 1858: 206 .
Distribution in mainland China: AH, FJ, GD, GX, GZ, HA, HN, JS, JX, SC, YN, ZJ ( Hua 2002).
Other distribution. Cosmopolitan (Borowski 2007) but mainly occurs in arid and pan-tropical areas.
Biology. This species is considered an important pest of bamboo and seasoned woods in many parts of Southeast Asia ( Liu & Geis 2019). It is clearly polyphagous ( Beeson & Bhatia 1937; Liu & Geis 2019). Hua (2002) records the species from Chinese herbal medicine.
