Notes
Rosso and Di Martino (2016) maintained this taxon but it is possible that these records actually belong to a different species, D. alboranensis Alvarez, 1992; all records need to be validated. Recorded by Harmelin 1969, Castritsi-Catharios and Marcopoulou-Diacantoni 1983, Castritsi-Catharios et al. 1986a, Castritsi-Catharios and Ganias 1989 (as Lichenopora hispida ), Ganias 1990, Simboura et al. 1995, Morri et al. 1999.
