Specimens measured. SP (10).
Dorsal shield of female mostly smooth, with scant anterolateral striae, 361 (340–385) long and 230 (207–240) wide. Setal lengths: j1 25 (21–28), j3 35 (30–38), j4 6 (5–8), j5 5 (5–7), j6 6 (5–8), J2 9 (8–10), J5 6 (5–7), z2 12 (9–14), z4 8 (7–10), z5 6 (5–7), Z1 10 (8–12), Z4 76 (70–80), Z5 179 (155–190), s4 59 (57–62), S2 10 (9–10), S4 9 (7–10), S5 8 (7–9), r3 11 (9–13) and R1 10 (9–12). Peritreme extending to level of j1. Distances between st1–st3 57 (55–60), st2–st2 72 (70–75), st5–st5 75 (73–82). Ventrianal shield 113 (108–120) long, 75 (72–77) wide at level of Zv2 and 79 (70–83) at anus level. Spermathecal calyx funnel-shaped, 6 (5–8) long, section of calyx next to vesicle flaring broadly, disc-shaped; atrium nodular. Fixed cheliceral digit 25 (24–26) long, with seven teeth; movable digit 28 (27–30) long, with 2–3 teeth. Macrosetae of legs I–IV, sharp-tipped; SgeI 34 (30–37), SgeII 36 (32–41), SgeIII 47 (42–52), SgeIV 77 (72–80), StiIII 32 (30–35), StiIV 54 (50–58) and StIV 52 (45–60) .
Distribution in Brazil. Goiás ( Demite et al., 2017), Mato Grosso (Ferla & Moraes, 2002a; Demite & Feres, 2007; Demite et al., 2009, 2017, 2021b; Daud & Feres, 2013; Conceiç„o et al., 2021), Mato Grosso do Sul ( Mendonça et al., 2019), Minas Gerais (Silva et al., 2010; Carvalho et al., 2012; Lofego et al., 2013), Roraima ( Figueirêdo et al., 2019) and São Paulo ( Denmark & Muma, 1973; Feres & Moraes, 1998; Lofego et al., 2004, 2009, 2017; Feres et al., 2005; Demite et al., 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015; Moraes et al., 2013; Parecis-Silva et al., 2016; Barroso et al., 2019).
Distribution elsewhere. Guadeloupe.
Remarks. Species described from Brazil. The measurements are similar to those of the original description. The illustration of spermathecae of specimens of this species presented by Moraes et al. (2013) were considered more precise than shown in the original description, as discussed by those authors.
