According to Kreiter et al. (2018a), dorsal shield of female mostly smooth, with scant anterolateral striae, 278 (263–310) long and 157 (138–168) wide. Setal lengths: j1 21 (20–23), j3 30 (25–33), j4 14 (13–15), j5 11 (10–13), j6 11 (10–13), J2 13 (10–13), J5 6 (5–8), z2 19 (18–20), z4 29 (28–35), z5 8, Z1 13 (10–15), Z4 56 (50–60), Z5 65 (60–70), s4 61 (58–63), S2 28 (25–33), S4 11 (10–13), S5 9 (8–10), r3 28 (25–30) and R1 13 (10–15). Peritreme extending to level of j1. Distances between st1–st3 56 (55–58), st2–st2 63 (60–65), st5–st5 56 (50–60). Ventrianal shield 93 (88–100) long, 57 (50–60) wide at level of Zv2 and 54 (50–60) at anus level. Spermathecal calyx cup-shaped, 10 (8–13) long; atrium small. Fixed cheliceral digit 24 (25–28) long, with nine teeth; movable digit 30 (29–30) long, with three teeth. Macrosetae only on leg IV, sharp-tipped; SgeIV 36 (33–38), StiIV 23 (20–25). StIV 42 (38–45) .
Distribution in Brazil. Rio Grande do Sul ( Ferla & Moraes, 2002b).
Distribution elsewhere. Colombia, Dominican Republic, Guadeloupe, Jamaica, Marie Galante, Martinique, Mexico, Panama, Saint Martin and Trinidad.
