Dorsal shield of female striate anterolaterally and reticulate medially, 305 (290–317) long and 170 (157–177) wide. Setal lengths: j1 23 (20–25), j3 36 (32–40), j4 8 (7–8), j5 9 (7–10), j6 11 (7–12), J2 10 (8–11), J5 8 (7–8), z2 20 (17–20), z4 17 (15–20), z5 7 (5–8), Z1 13 (10–15), Z4 53 (47–62), Z5 80 (70–87), s4 56 (47–60), S2 23 (20–25), S4 13 (12–15), S5 10 (8–10), r3 18 (16–20) and R1 13 (10–15). Peritreme extending to level of j1. Distances between st1–st3 56 (52–58), st2–st2 68 (65–70), st5–st5 65 (55–72). Ventrianal shield 102 (95–112) long, 89 (82–95) wide at level of Zv2 and 73 (67–77) at anus level. Spermathecal calyx cup-shaped, 9 (8–10) long; atrium small. Fixed cheliceral digit 25 (22–27) long, with ten teeth; movable digit 25 (22–27) long, with 3–4 teeth. Distinct macrosetae only on leg IV, sharp-tipped; SgeIV 40 (37–45), StiIV 21 (20–22) and StIV 41 (37–45) .
Distribution in Brazil. Bahia ( Moraes et al., 1993), Goiás ( Demite et al., 2017), Mato Grosso (Conceiç„o et al., 2021), Mato Grosso do Sul ( Furtado et al., 2014, Mendonça et al., 2019), Minas Gerais ( Rezende & Lofego, 2012), Paraíba ( Fiaboe et al., 2007), Paraná ( Furtado et al., 2006), Santa Catarina ( Furtado et al., 2006), São Paulo ( Demite et al., 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015; Feres et al., 2005, 2007; Lofego et al., 2004, 2007) and Tocantins ( Cruz et al., 2012; Cañarte et al., 2020).
Distribution elsewhere. Colombia.
Remarks. The specimens examined are similar to those of the original description, except z4, about 1.3 times longer in the original description.
