Serraseius caicara Moraes et al., 2013: 315 View Cited Treatment .
According to Moraes et al. (2013), female dorsal shield mostly imbricate, smooth behind Z4, 280–297 long and 160–170 wide. Setal lengths: j1 20, j3 34–39, j4 25–27, j5 43–44, j6 64–70, J5 12–14, z2 78–83, z4 28–31, z5 28–29, Z4 70–72, Z5 74–77, s4 74–78, S2 76–79, S4 67–68, S5 33 –37, r3 46–47 and R1 39–41. Peritreme extending almost to level of j1. Distances between st1–st3 55–57, st2–st2 58, st5–st5 43–46. Ventrianal shield reduced, 84–85 long and 44–46 wide at anus level, with only one pair of pre-anal setae (Jv2). Spermathecal calyx cone-shaped (mentioned as funnel-shaped by Moraes et al., 2013), 6 long; atrium c-shaped. Fixed cheliceral digit 22 long, with two teeth; movable digit 20–21 long, with two teeth. Leg macrosetae absent.
Distribution in Brazil. São Paulo ( Moraes et al., 2013).
Distribution elsewhere. Not reported.
Remarks. Species described from Brazil and known only from the type specimens.
