Daidalotarsonemus duolamella Lin, Chen & Zhang, 1998

Daidalotarsonemus duolamella Lin et al., 1998: 141 ; Lin & Zhang, 2002: 59; Mondal & Karmakar, 2023: 133.

Diagnosis. Female: Gnathosoma : Palpal length about 1/4 length of gnathosoma. Dorsum: Coarse ornamentation present on prodorsum. Tergites C and D ornamented with longitudinal depressions. Setae v1, sc2, c1, c2 and h unmodified in shape. Setae v1 as long as sc2 (~ 30). Setae c1 longer than c2 (~ 30 and ~20, respectively). Setae h as long as c2 (~ 20). Setae c1 inserted near midlength of tergite C. Setae d, e and f leaf-shaped. Setae d and f identical in shape (linear with two lateral veins), length (~ 45) and width (~ 5). Setae e asymmetrical (somewhat elliptical) in shape, shorter than d and f, but longer than h (~ 25). Setae f ~10 distant from each other, on rounded tubercles. Venter: Tegula truncate, slightly arched posteriorly. All apodemes distinct. Apodemes 2 not fused to prosternal apodeme. Poststernal apodeme bifurcated anteriorly. Legs: sensory cluster of tibiotarsus I complete. Seta tc” of tarsus II slender. Male & larva: unknown.

Type material deposition: holotype ♀ deposited at FAAS .

Locality: Zhangpin, Fujian Province, China ( Lin et al. 1998 — type series locality). Rishyap, Kalimpong, India ( Mondal & Karmakar 2023).
