(Information translated and modified from Yang et al., (1987)).

Diagnosis. Female: Gnathosoma : Palpal length about 1/4 length of gnathosoma. Dorsum: Reticulate ornamentation medially present on prodorsum, tergites C and D. Tergite C with four transverse rows of well-defined cells medially, grouped between setae c1 and c2. Tergite D with two transverse rows of cells between setae d. Setae v1, sc2 and h unmodified in shape. Setae v1 clearly shorter than sc2 (~ 35 and ~ 45, respectively) both longer than h (~ 15). Setae c1, c2, d, e and f leaf-shaped. Setae c1 and c2 similar in shape (linear-lanceolate with one central vein) but different in length (~ 35 and ~ 25, respectively). Setae c1 inserted past midlength of tergite C. Posterior setae d, e and f identical in shape (lanceolate with one central vein), but different in length (~ 26, ~ 23 and ~ 28, respectively) and width (~ 10, ~ 8 and ~ 12, respectively). Setae f ~16 distant from each other, on conical tubercles. Venter: Tegula rounded, arched posteriorly. All apodemes distinct.Apodemes 2 not fused to prosternal apodeme. Poststernal apodeme bifurcated anteriorly. Male: described posteriorly ( Lin et al. 2000). Dorsum: Setae v1 longer than v2 (~ 27 and ~ 20, respectively). Setae sc1 almost two times longer than sc2 (~ 54 and ~ 30, respectively). Setae c1 as long as c2 (~ 30), both shorter than d (~ 38). Setae f ~ 35. Venter: Apodemes 5 distinct at posterior end of poststernal apodeme. Legs: Sensory cluster of tibiotarsus I complete. Solenidion ω of tarsus II length 5. On femorogenu IV, seta v’ G l shorter than v’ F (~ 8 and ~ 15, respectively). On tibia IV, seta v’ Ti very long compared to other setae (~ 61).

Larva: unknown.

Type material deposition: holotype ♀ deposited at DBFU .

Locality: Shanghai, China ( Yang et al. 1987 — type series locality); Nanjing , China ( Lin et al. 2000).
