"Navajas ( Castellón), Alcudia, Alberrique, Jativa (Valencia)" [Navajas, L’Alcúdia, Alberic, Xàtiva (prov. Valencia)], Spain.
Remarks.
Junior homonym of Melanopsis brevis Sowerby, 1826. Not available from Rossmässler (1854), to whom Pallary referred to, because he did not use the term " brevis " to denote a species-group taxon but only cited Férussac’s (1823) description of an unnamed variety of Melanopsis dufourii .
