Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (nt).
Discussion: Includes longicaudatus, see Corbet (1978 c) and Tsytsulina and Strelkov (2001). Does not include bucharensis , see Horácek et al. (2000) and Tsytsulina and Strelkov (2001).
