TYPE LOCALITY: “ in collibus subapenninis [sub-Apennine hills ( Italy)]” .

TYPE MATERIAL: 1 ♀, syntype (missing left hind-leg) ( MZUF: Box 14): Blepharipa Rnd. / minor Rnd. / 738.

CURRENT STATUS: junior primary homonym of Masicera minor Perris, 1852 ; junior synonym of Drino imberbis ( Wiedemann, 1830) ( Herting & Dely-Draskovits 1993: 208) .

REMARKS: Rondani (1865c: 218) described Masicera minor without specifying the number, the sex or the length of the specimens. We found one syntype in this study.
