Distribution.
Natural history.
In SK, one female was captured in May from wind-drift on the lake. In NB, Strigota obscurata was found in flood debris on a river margin, on soil at the base of grass in a residential lawn, and captured in a Lindgren funnel trap in an old jack pine forest ( Webster et al. 2016b). Brunke et al. (2012) reported this as the most common species in southern Ontario soybean fields, often occurring in open habitats with Strigota ambigua .
