COMMENT: Placed in monotypic subgenus Ognevia by Heptner and Dolgov, 1967, Zool. Zh., 56: 1419-1422. Not conspecific with pacificus ; see Hoffmann, 1971, Z. Saugetierk., 36: 193-200.
