Records in Mexico: Colima, Durango, Jalisco, Quintana Roo and Campeche.
Biogeographic province: Pacific Lowlands. Sierra Madre Occidental. Yucatan Peninsula.
Habitat: Canopy of low deciduous forest. Collected on epiphytes: Aechmea bracteata growing on Haematoxylum campechianum and Metopium brownei . Associated with nests of Neotoma albigula ( Rodentia : Muridae ). Leaf litter under trees and bushes in a secondary semi-evergreen tropical forest.
