This species was earlier recorded from Tripolitania by Chopard (1943). This can be distinguished from other species by its median carina of pronotum in prozona, when viewed in profile, strongly raised and deeply incised at posterior typical sulcus; spurs of hind tibia relatively shorter and stouter; first tarsal joint short, its second pulvillus not longer than the first or the third ( Uvarov, 1943).
Material examined: Sebha Region: Sebha, 3 ɗ, on grass and vegetable, 10.v.96.
Localities: Tripolitania: Mizda, Uadi Caam; Fezzan: Sebha.
Distribution: Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, S.W. Asia.
