Type-species: G,yllus cisti Fabricius, 1787 .

Diagnosis: Male genitalia: supra-anal plate elongate angular, longer than wide, cercus simple, elongate, narrow, incurved (fig. 6G); subgenital plate (fig. 6H) broad, wider than long, subconical; epiphallus (fig. 6E) large, elongate, protruding and excurved in middle of posterior margin, moderately sclerotized, ancorae small and finger-like; aedeagus (fig. 6F) with apical valve downcurved and recurved, narrower and shorter than basal valve. Female genitalia: supra-anal plate elongate, longer than wide; cercus short and broad (figs. 6A; 7 A, E); posterior margin of female subgenital plate wavy, slightly serrated, setose laterally; Jannone's organs absent; egg-guide rudimentary (figs. 6B; 7B, F); spermatheca (figs. 6C; 7C, G) long, curved, with several lateral bluges, broad apically; ovipositor (figs. 6D; 7D, H) valves elongate, curved, shorter than lateral apodeme; ventral valve with external lateral projection well developed, mesial tooth absent.

The genus is represented by three species from Fezzan.
