Vernacular Names: White-stripped Free-tailed Bat.
Synonyms: Tadarida albidus Leche 1884 ; Tadarida atratus Thomas 1924 .
Distribution: S and C Australia.
Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (nt).
Discussion: australis species group. Does not include kuboriensis , although see Koopman (1982).
