Benglebra bipunctata Mahmood & Ahmed 1969: 87 , figs 2a–e.

Original description. “External characters: head broadly convex in front, median length of crown less than width between eyes; ocelli present, located anteromedian to eyes; crown with two black spots antero-laterally; crown and pronotum with a pair of yellowish brown longitudinal stripes, scutellum brownish in colour; forewings with greenish yellow posterior margin; fourth apical cell with a black spot at base. Male genitalia: male plate in lateral aspect, not much broader at base than apex; ventral process of pygofer double pronged apically; style with a well developed preapical lobe, provided with macrosetae, apical extension directed laterad, smoothly rounded at extreme apex, lateral spur absent; aedeagus with a well developed dorsal apdeme, provided with a perforation, shaft broad at base, tapered terminally and directed dorsad.”

“ Holotype male, Comilla, East Pakistan, 14 III 65, M. Ahmed, Bamboo, a single specimen in Zoological Museum, University of Karachi, Pakistan.”

Material examined. Holotype 3, Bangladesh, Comilla, 14.iii.1965, M. Ahmed, on Bamboo ( ZMUK).

Distribution. Bangladesh.

Remarks. Some parts of the type are missing and redrawn from the original, i.e., fore and hindwing, aedeagus, style and connective.
